Access Control

Gate Motors

Gate motors are the first moving security barrier for many homes, estates, and business sites. DFence Solutions checks whether the gate system is reliable, safe, and giving the client the access control they expect.

Why it matters

A faulty gate motor can leave a property open, trap vehicles, interrupt staff or family access, and create unnecessary safety risks. Small issues such as worn racks, weak batteries, poor alignment, or intermittent power can become bigger failures if they are ignored.

How DFence assesses it

The technician checks visible motor condition, gate movement, power and backup battery concerns, rack alignment, safety beams, remote/access response, obstruction issues, and client-reported symptoms before documenting findings.

When to call

Call when the gate opens slowly, stops halfway, makes unusual noise, responds intermittently, loses power backup, derails, or when the site needs an insurance or maintenance inspection with photos and clear recommendations.

What you receive

Clients receive practical findings, visible fault notes, inspection photos where required, and guidance on whether repair, adjustment, replacement, or further technical testing is recommended.
